The 6 Products I Can’t Live Without

Makeup is absolutely my favorite thing. I love buying makeup, testing it out, reviewing it and getting creative. If I were somehow stranded on a deserted island with only 6 makeup products, these are the ones I would have with me.

Concealer

A definite must for me would be concealer. Even if I’m not wearing makeup out, I usually throw on some concealer to cover my under eye bags. The brightening effect it has overall to your face is nice and it makes me look at least a little more put together, in my opinion.

Powder

Powder is another thing I would bring with me because my skin tends to get oily throughout the day and powder helps keep the oils at bay. This would help to keep my concealer from creasing as well, so another plus. The powder I use is the Cover FX Matte Setting Powder.

Brows

Another important aspect of my makeup routine would be my brows. It makes me look so much more put together when I do my brows, I usually do them even if I’m not wearing any other makeup. My brows for the most part are pretty good but they need a little help in the front. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder in the shade Taupe.

Highlight

Okay, Highlighter is probably my favorite thing other than lipstick. I love a really blinding highlight. My favorite one right now is the Colourpop Pressed Powder Highlighter in Dreamscape. It’s super affordable and really blinding which is a plus for me!

Setting Spray

Okay so I know I keep saying that this product is my favorite but this one is up there as well. I didn’t use setting spray for the longest time and I don’t know how I ever lived without it. If I could recommend one product for everyone regardless of skin type it would be the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I know, so basic. But it is truly amazing! My makeup lasts so long when I use this, it’s basically hair spray for your face and I love it so much!

Mascara

Last but not least, mascara! I love a good mascara that lengthens my lashes and gives them volume. My lashes are pretty long in general, I got really lucky there! Mascara is one of my faves because it really gives your makeup look that oomph it needs and makes your eyes really stand out. My current favorites are the Colourpop BFF Mascara and the Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara. This combo makes my lashes look amazing – I get so many compliments and questions on if my lashes are fake.
