My Favorite Drugstore Makeup Products 2019

Drugstore makeup has really made a comeback recently, in my opinion. There are more and more products that are really amazing and affordable and this made me totally rethink my “drugstore makeup is affordable, therefore is isn’t quality” mindset. I’m not sure why I used to think this, but I always thought that just because a foundation is $60 and not $6 that it’s going to be way better and that is just not the case.

I have a few drugstore makeup products that I really love but I definitely want to expand my collection so please let me know if you have any suggestions. (I am including Colourpop in this list because of their price point. I know they are mainly only online but they do have some products in Ulta).

Here are a few of my favorite drugstore makeup products:

1. The Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation ($11.99)

I’ve done a separate review on this foundation so I’ll keep this short. This foundation is full coverage, lasts all day, and makes your skin look amazing. If you are looking for a full coverage, affordable foundation I’d say give this one a try!

2. The L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer ($10.99)

One of my favorite drugstore makeup products is the L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer. I highly recommend this concealer and it’s definitely as good as Tarte Shape Tape, in my opinion. I sometimes just use this concealer under my eyes when I don’t want to put on makeup and it looks so natural and completely covers my dark circles. I think this concealer is definitely worth trying!

3. Colourpop BFF Mascara ($8)
I am using Colourpop’s picture from their website because the writing on my tube has completely worn off

While this isn’t technically a drugstore makeup product, the Colourpop BFF Mascara is amazing. It lengthens my lashes and makes them look so good. This is one of my favorite mascaras and the price point is great. This mascara is even better than some of the high end ones I’ve tried. I highly recommend it and if you are interested you can purchase it here!

4. Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush ($8)

The Colourpop Pressed Powder Blushes are one of my favorite affordable products. I like this product because you can purchase it in the compact (pictured) or you can purchase just the blush pan and use an empty palette to hold multiple shades. They are so affordable and are really good quality, in my opinion. My favorite shades are Zip and Why, Hello…

5. Colourpop Pressed Powder Highlighters ($8)

The Colourpop Pressed Powder Highlighters are really really good. I need to pick up some more shades because they are so pretty. If you like a really blinding highlight, go for Dreamscape (pictured). It is soo pretty! I’ve been using this one daily now and every time I use it, I am blown away with how amazing it is. I also love that it’s affordable so if you end up not liking a shade you picked, it’s not that big of a deal. Definitely recommend this one!

6. Essence Satin Touch Blush ($2.99)
Essence Satin Touch Blush in Satin Love

Speaking of affordable drugstore makeup products, the Essence Satin Touch Blushes are really good. The compact itself is broken but I still love it and do recommend you try it. This color (Satin Love) is perfect for my skin tone and the other color, Satin Coral, is really pretty too. Who doesn’t love a blush that’s only $3? If you’re looking for an affordable blush option, I recommend you pick this one up!

7. Colourpop No Filter Loose Setting Powder ($9)

While I haven’t actually had a chance to try the Colourpop No Filter Setting Powder (my sister ran out of her powder so I gave her this one) my sister said it’s really good. The powder is finely milled and feels good on the skin. I need to pick this one up again (and actually keep it) so I can try it out for myself! I’ve heard great things about this powder though, so I don’t think you would be disappointed if you picked this one up!

8. Colourpop Liquid Lipsticks ($7)
Left to Right: Beeper (matte), Chance (satin), Softii (matte), WYD (matte)

Now on to the Colourpop Liquid Lipsticks. Oh how I love these.. the Colourpop Liquid Lipsticks are the ONLY lipsticks that I use. Yes, the only. I had never tried a liquid lipstick before these and now I’m hooked. I don’t use “normal” bullet lipsticks anymore because the lasting power on these liquid lipsticks is ridiculously amazing.

The matte formula is personally my favorite, but the satin formula is great too — It’s still matte but a bit more comfortable. Regardless of formula, I can eat and drink and not even have to touch up unless I want to. With the satin formula you have a wee bit of transfer but nothing bad. I know when I wear these that it is going to stay put and look good all day.

I could go on forever about these but I’ll keep it short. If you are looking for a liquid lipstick that lasts all day, is affordable, and comes in every shade imaginable, pick these up. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
